Born in Brooklyn, NY I've moved around spent time on a dairy farm in Minnesota before moving back east. My career has been varied and taken me from an EMT to working in hospital emergency rooms and then in a woman's state prison. For a few years I took a break from medical and became the owner of a coffee shop and small restaurant. Then back to medical, but this time in veterinary emergency hospital. 

So where does hope fit in? After being laid off during the poor economy I finally had the time to follow my dream. Now I'm a published author! I'm also back working in people medical again. I look forward to retirement in a couple of years to I can devote more time to sharing my stories.
