David Edmund Moody, PhD, is the author of Krishnamurti in America: New Perspectives on the Man and his Message. This is the first complete biography of Krishnamurti's life in America, and it reveals the secular, psychological insights and observations that form the foundation of his philosophy.
Moody is the former director of Oak Grove School, in Ojai, California, founded by Krishnamurti in 1975. His experiences and observations of the people involved and the philosophy of the school were the subject of his first book, The Unconditioned Mind: J. Krishnamurti and the Oak Grove School (Quest, 2011).
Moody's second book described Krishnamurti's close working relationship with renowned theoretical physicist David Bohm. An Uncommon Collaboration: David Bohm and J. Krishnamurti (2017) examines the independent careers of both men and the shared philosophical and psychological views that brought them together.
