Mr. Klein is a former technical marketing director once responsible for the research and development of new business opportunities for operating companies as well as for corporate clients of Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, CA. Over the course of his career, he has helped his employers (and clients of SRI) earn nearly a half billion dollars in new business in a variety of challenging specialty chemicals and advanced materials markets.
Spending his boyhood in Atlanta and later, Westfield, New Jersey, Mr. Klein holds bachelors and Masters degrees in chemistry, biology and marketing (with a minor in English).
Personal interests beyond writing include baseball, visiting the South Seas, Lotus and Jaguar cars, running 5Ks, collecting exotic plants and caring for his best-of-house wire-hair fox terrier.
Mr. Klein has written four novels to date (and is currently at work on his fifth). The completed works are presented below:
The Prophecy Cave Part One. An epic, very high-concept, three-part Christian thriller inspired by the great and classic film, Raiders of the Lost Ark, in which events not seen or heard of since Jesus walked the earth begin to occur in modern time.
Hell's Shadows A brand new type of haunted house story that takes the reader on a hugely unpredictable creep-you-out ride. Unlike any horror tale you've ever read, Hell's Shadows -- inspired by the film, Poltergeist -- is much more intense but without gore.
King of the Nine Hells Dark Fantasy. A tale about a haunted book of near antiquity that can see and hear those around it, a book that knows who is speaking and who is in the room, a book incorrigibly evil that can grant its reader anything he wants no matter how vile or gluttonous, no matter who gets hurt or who dies. Loosely inspired by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series with as much serial and cinematic appeal as her work.
The Jerusalem Stone A story of a paid assassin, a hostile atheist, that works for South American drug cartels. Using his training as a Marine Scout sniper, he becomes the most feared individual in the drug trade, his targets taken out at distances greater than one mile. Upon visiting Jerusalem at the request of his daughter, a stone she finds in a field unbelieveably changes his life forever.
