Derek Pozel is a mid 30's Chicagoland native. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife. When he is not writing, he's often found hidden away in his office watching old 80's movies, playing videos, telling his yorkie Pita to stop biting his pants or napping in his chair.

Derek has worked on a few different short stories and novel over the past 10 years. Hunting Heroes is his first completed novel. 

He does not like talking about himself in third person.
