Dotty Anderson is the grandmother of five school age boys. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She lives with her husband in Placerville, California. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has traveled extensively. After a trip to Iceland she was inspired to write two short stories designed for ages 8 to 12. “Aldar Visits America” concerns the problem of school bullyingand “Aldar and the Leprechauns” concernsracism and prejudice. The stories she writes are intended to both entertain and educate.
