Dr. Linda Sonna graduated from the University of Illinois. She practiced psychology, authored ten parenting books, wrote a nationally syndicated column, and taught at Dallas County community colleges, at the University of New Mexico in Taos, and served as professor of multicultural counseling for Yorkville University in Canada. She moved to Mexico in 2005.
Lois Sonna Mark grew up in the suburbs and attended Roosevelt College in Chicago. She served as both the women’s editor and a columnist for the Citizen Newspapers in Illinois for eight years before moving to Mexico. In Irapuato, she headed up the Instituto Norteamericano de Estudios Bilingües. Under her eleven-year leadership, she restored the historic La Casa de La Inquisición for its campus and built the school into a major educational institution.
