Lived in Pittsburgh, PA until 2015 when she moved to Ecuador with her songwriter/musician husband, Bob(writer of several #1 country songs). They currently live in Ballenita, Santa Elena Province, Ecuador on the western coast of South America with the Pacific Ocean as their backyard.
The Roxanne Boudreaux trilogy is the first published mystery/suspense/romance by the author, using pen name of EB Corbin to include all the great input and developmental editing from husband Bob. First and second books of trilogy released in fall/winter of 2017, third book will be released in early 2018.
Interests include reading, writing, dogs, music, movies, stock and travel photography, interior design, including Feng Shui, and 12 years of studying Tai Chi. (in no particular order of preference)
Some of my favorite authors include John Sandford, James Lee Burke, Nora Roberts (and JD Robb), Sandra Brown, David Baldacci, Linda Fairstein and Janet Evanovich. (I have many more I enjoy reading but the list is too long to cover them all.)
You may wonder why EB Corbin is the pen name for Edana Corbin. Read on for the spellbinding (?) story…
I once read that you need an easy to remember author’s name. My first name “Edana” is not only difficult to remember, it’s difficult to spell and almost impossible to pronounce correctly without instructions (say E-donna). It often gets confused with Edna which causes me to cringe—not that there’s anything wrong with Edna, it’s just NOT my name.
So when kicking around a name to use on my first published novel, I came up with EB Corbin. The E for my first name and the B for Bob, my husband whose given me tremendous input from page one. I specifically left off the periods after the initials so as not to be confused with E.B. White — I neither write for The New Yorker nor about spiders. And I most definitely do not pretend to be an expert on the Elements of Style.
Anyway, that’s the tale of how EB Corbin came to be. I hope you get a chance to read the first book of the Roxanne Boudreaux trilogy, Too Many Secrets, which is currently available on Amazon both for Kindle and in paperback. The second book of the trilogy, Too Many Lies, is scheduled to be released in December 2017.
