I cannot remember a time when I didn’t enjoy reading. Reading took me to places I couldn’t go and allowed me to see the world from the comfort of my bedroom. I began writing short stories and poems as a preteen and would write in my journal and imagine the day when I would write my own books.

I cannot remember a time when I didn’t enjoy reading. Reading took me to places I couldn’t go and allowed me to see the world from the comfort of my bedroom. I began writing short stories and poems as a preteen and would write in my journal and imagine the day when I would write my own books.
My husband Tom and I have four boys; Jacob, Zachary, Noah and Benjamin. When they were little, I would treasure the times of cuddling on the couch, reading to them. Sometimes we read many stories and sometimes it was the same story but we would read it over and over again. I didn’t mind either way, the time spent together is what mattered. I continue to enjoy spending time with my family.
Along with writing, I still enjoy reading and take every chance I get to be reading on a beach. Another past time I enjoy is browsing antique shops and going to flea markets with my husband.
My first book, “Is There Enough?” is the true story of my son Noah, asking if I will have enough love for him when his baby brother is born. My heart almost broke when I heard that question. I had to find a way to explain a mother’s love and be reassuring without sounding fake and cliché. “Is There Enough?” is a mother’s love letter to her child. My love letter, to my boys.
