Gloria Jean Berry, a former teacher, has taught over 2,000 teens and young adults. During her tenure in education, she received such recognition as an Outstanding Secondary Educator of America, the Superintendent's Award for dedication and commitment to her school system, Yearbook Dedication by a senior class, and an official citation from her state's General Assembly for her work as an educator. As the author of Open the Door to Great Teacher-Student Rapport, a resource book for middle and high school teachers, she now has published Crossroads--The Discovery Journal: Reflecting and Reaching Out, a combination book and journal targeting teens and young adults with the purpose being to enhance decision-making skills. After reviewing Crossroads, a reader commented ". . . I was able to utilize your book in my thought process regarding an idea I had, and it enabled me to think through the idea weighing both pros and cons."
