My Alaskan multi-media company, Northern Light Media, was founded in 2007, and since that time I’ve published over a dozen nonfiction books about the history of Alaska and the Yukon. I have given presentations about my books at the Alaska State Fair, many historical society meetings, the University of Alaska, radio, television, and many other venues. I have also written articles for Alaska Magazine, Last Frontier Magazine, Alaska Dispatch, Alaska History Magazine, Mushing Magazine, The Frontiersman, and many others.
My titles currently in print include The Alaskan Diaries of Dr. James Taylor White, The Alaska Railroad 1902-1923, Alaskan Sled Dog Tales, Alaskan Roadhouses, Alaska & The Klondike, Trailing and Camping in Alaska in 1909, The First Iditarod, The Yukon Quest Trail, Long Hard Trails and Sled Dog Tales, The All Alaska Sweepstakes, The Stained Glass Dogteam, The Matanuska Colony Barns, The 1935 Matanuska Colony Project, and The Beautiful Matanuska Valley.
I live near Big Lake, Alaska, enjoy watercolor painting and stained glass work, and travel frequently.
