James Karis is a poet, storyteller, painter, photographer and book publisher.
He is the author of three books of poetry, "Epigrams of Infinity," "Sex With Spiders" and "The Death of the Human Soul," a dystopian novella, "Savage Nemesis," and a collection of poetry and short prose, "Tchaikovsky for Suicidal Men."
Recurring themes in his books include perception, consciousness, death, rebirth, sex, infinity, eternity and transcendence.
Karis has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in mass communication from Boston University, and he has written for newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years, covering books, music, theater, politics and culture.
