Ms. Robbins holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and she is currently a doctoral PsyD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. She is the author of Still Standing, an intimate collection of poems and essays, and The Golden Penny, a how-to manual that teaches readers how to transform their lives by changing their thoughts. She is also the writer and performer of Stepping On a Few Toes, her award-winning autobiographical one-woman show that has been performed nationally and internationally since 2009. Because Ms. Robbins believes in practicing what she preaches, she founded the nonprofit organization, Healing, Hope & Love in 2016. The organization just closed a two-year program, Food for Friends, which provided meals and other essentials to food-deprived communities across the country. The organization is still running, and continues to expand, Freedom Kids, a program that provides care packages to youth that have lost a parent in the military. Having mastered the art of overcoming, Ms. Robbins is a dynamic speaker, a passionate leader, and an inspiration to many.
