Born and raised in Maple, Canada to a Tunisian immigrant mother, I spent the first half of my life as a competitive gymnast training roughly 30 hours a week. When I wasn’t training at the gym I fantasized about being on popular TV shows like Saved By The Bell so began writing myself guest roles in spec scripts at 8 years old.
It wasn’t until I graduated University with a BA in Philosophy that I was finally able to pursue my theatrical aspirations, at age 20 I moved to New York City with a duffel bag and a dream. I got into a theatre company soon after landing in the Big Apple and was running the company by age 22. To date I’ve appeared in over two-dozen plays in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, Europe, Australia and have produced over 40 independent film and theatre productions.
Both my short films screened at the Festival De Cannes Short Film Corner among other international festivals and my comedic Award-Winning solo show was adapted into the novel "Year of the What?" coming out in November 2020.
For the past five years I’ve been doing volunteer work teaching acting and improv classes to special needs adults and I do stand up comedy regularly because the one thing I’ve learned through all my experiences is that laughter really is the best medicine!
