JoAnne Blackwelder spent most of her working life in typesetting and printing. She ran her own printing business in New York City for ten years. Her poems have appeared in The Lyric, Poet’s Review, East Hampton Newsletter, Printing News, and Journal of Modern Poetry. She was a runner up for a Formalist (aka Measure) sonnet contest and was featured in the anthology Love Notes published by Vagabondage Press.
