Johnson’s passion is in helping people navigate challenging crossroads in their personal and professional life. He has been blessed to have never had a corporate job, and has always done what he loves for a living. In that way, he consider himself among the fortunate few who lives in alignment with his purpose.
The path of arriving at a place of a loving acceptance was a challenging process for him. As a second-generation Asian American born and raised in New York City to conservative parents, his childhood was full of unrealistic pressures and expectations. Johnson’s parents were refugees of a communist China that rejected them. Unconsciously, they continued this history of violence and abuse in his upbringing.
An inner voice constantly led him to rebel against the status quo, and all that was un-fairly expected of him. That voice got him into a lot of trouble growing up, but it was that same voice that helped him become a classically trained actor in a rigorous conservatory program. Over time, he became an expert internal investigator of human psychology, behaviours, patterns and decision making by overcoming his own issues of identity and rejection.
The turning point in his life was a series of events that led him to a choice point where he was forced to dig himself out of his self-sabotaging patterns and negative belief patterns. With the help of his mentors and teachers, he eventually did.
Over the past 15 years of his spiritual journey and world travels, he synthesized the Sage Method, a holistic system of guiding people become more aligned to their purpose. In doing so, his clients have been able to cultivate healthier and more fulfilled experiences in life.
Through a deepened awareness of the body, an expanded focus in the mind and an authentic yearning to shift old emotional triggers, he actively co-creates with his clients new realities of love, joy, peace and freedom.
He is the founder of Sagehouse in Singapore and the author of the Sage Sapien: From Karma to Dharma.
