Joseph D’Antoni is a true forensic expert having spent over 47 years investigating and testifying as a forensic economist in court cases throughout the world. His clients have included the FBI, Department of Justice, intelligence agencies and many of the largest law firms in this country. He holds an advanced master’s degree and doctorate degree from LSU and USC respectively and has served as professor at three major universities. His recently acquired fictional writing career is inspired by many of the characters and stories from the many cases he has investigated and offered expert opinion on in court.
In addition to other literary works he has recently completed a trilogy of techno-thriller novels about covert intelligence operatives. Each of his new books Silent Sanction, Lethal Authority and Rogue Asset feature the same main character, Wade Hanna.
Wade Hanna emerges childhood from the unlikely depths of a Louisiana swamp where he barely manages to survive teenage years along the streets of the “Big Easy” in New Orleans. The character goes on to become an U.S. intelligence officer with a unique set of tracking skills and unworldly instincts which only the depths of a swamp could teach. Deadly espionage plots are broken up as the protagonist finds unique ways around accepted intelligence protocol and international law.
D’Antoni is also a fine art photographer who’s acclaimed hard bound book, Louisiana Reflections captivating black and white images documenting places and life in Louisiana before hurricane Katrina.
His current activities include completing his new book Shadow Cell in the same covert intelligence series which is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2015. He currently resides in Southern California where he writes and works on art projects when he is not investigating or testifying in court on forensic assignments.
