Dr. Kathy McCoy is an award-winning author, journalist, blogger and psychotherapist.
Her latest book, The Crocodiles Will Arrive Later, is a memoir of growing up with a violent mentally ill, alcoholic, drug-abusing father who could also be charming and loving and who was haunted by dark mood swings he called “crocodiles.” It is a story of horror, humor, cruelty and love – and how she found hope, building a very different life for herself while letting go of her painful past with love and forgiveness.
