Margaret Brandeis was never told that girls can't do it. She's been a machinist, a horse stable owner, a Real Estate Broker, a General Manager, a provisional SCUBA Instructor, a Foundation Committee Chairperson and the owner of a marine salvage company. Her numerous diving locales have included the kelp beds of the California Monterey Trench, the Marine Sancturaries of Florida, the Bays of Hawaii, the Great Blue Hole of Belize and Tarpon Alley in the Grand Cayman Islands. With degrees in Computer Programming and Business Administration, at the age of 27, she formed two Limited Liability Partnerships whose goals were to search for sunken shipwrecks and recover their treasures. As the sole General Partner and Expedition Leader, Margaret raised over three million dollars and spent 17 years as the only professional female treasure hunter in the business. She now lives in a forest in Idaho.
