I've been a freelance correspondent and columnist for Our Town, published by The Daily American, since February 2015. Prior to my current writing, I was Communications Manager for American Red Cross Blood Services, Greater Alleghenies Region, for nearly 34 years. I wrote news releases concerning special events blood drives and campaigns and features on blood recipients and longtime blood donors.
