Author Marilyn Timpanaro uses her unique talent of seeing beneath the superficial in order to examine the emotional aspects of the human condition as she spins the saga of Marra Dallas.
In her debut novel, Marilyn introduces us to a young girl whose dysfunctional life is filled with violence, and ultimately culminates in not one, but two murders. As we travel through Marra's journey of transformation, we are transported from her small hometown, to the Jersey shore, to the majesty of Charleston, and then on to the warm waters and splendid sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico.
The mysteries of Marra's life will untangle as the secrets of her past come into the light, revealed through the strong characters she encounters in her travels - characters who will stay with you long after you've turned the last page.
Marilyn Timpanaro is a graduate of St. Petersburg College, where she was the editor of the literary magazine, The Obelisk. Raised in New Jersey, Marilyn has lived virtually all of her adult life in Clearwater, Florida. Marilyn is a wife, mother, grandmother, and the devoted pet-parent of a very spoiled Labrador Retriever, Ivy Lee. Just as Ivy is Marilyn's second pet-child, so is Marra Dallas her second completed novel, although it is the first published. Marilyn has written throughout her lifetime, but her strong devotion to her family has kept her from sharing her stories with the rest of us, until now.
