I had started drawing before I even learned to walk. I would painstakingly smear paper sheets (or floor, or carpet, or walls...) with my crayons for hours. After more than 30 years nothing much has changed. But at least I am more picky about the surface I paint on.

I had started drawing before I even learned to walk. I would painstakingly smear paper sheets (or floor, or carpet, or walls...) with my crayons for hours. After more than 30 years nothing much has changed. But at least I am more picky about the surface I paint on.
For the better part of my career, I worked with various publishers and computer game studios around the world. I used to paint fantasy and realistic illustrations for fantasy books, tutorials and video games.
However, as I grew older, had two children of my own, and not nearly enough darkness inside to fuel my "serious" paintings, I decided to move into picture book illustrations.
So now with my Mom we work as a team - she writes children's books and I illustrate her stories!
