Marvin Bevans created The World of High Fashion series for Playboy Books, which he wrote under a pseudonym, Joanne Kaye. His articles and interviews have appeared in national and international magazines and newspapers, including The Sunday New York times, Us, Ladies Home Journal and Penthouse (UK), among other credits. "The comedy, "The Roommates," was a two drama that he wrote which was successfully produced by the Manhattan Theater Club. He also served as creator and Editor in Chief of a national fashion magazine, Men's Style. As a young man he had the opportunity of visiting many US embassies, and thus began an early fascination with foreign intrigue and the possibility of writing a thriller. "A Call To Prayer," sets him on the path towards completing his goal.
