Mary Ann D’Alto graduated from Barnard College with a degree in art history and a rather large box of journals filled with short stories and poetry penned in between classes. She has advanced degrees from Columbia University and from City University of New York School of Law, where she received a Juris Doctor.  Mary Ann is a Vegetarian, and an avid golfer.  She never holds grudges, believing that forgiveness is the key to World Peace.  Mary Ann is a member of The Innocence Project and The Forgiveness Project .  ​ He Counts Their Tears is her first novel.
