Pamela Moriarty was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. This is her first book. She has had articles published in the Massachusetts Teachers Association Magazine related to her work as a special needs teacher. She has also published short stories in the National Writers’ Project anthology and fourvolts.uk, and her poem, In Memoriam, a tribute to the fallen in Iraq, won the Ocean Poetry contest on the writing website thenextbigwriter. com. On retiring from teaching, Pamela finally had the time to write her memoir entitled What Happened to My Mother, a tribute to her courageous mother whose life was hideously cut short. She has four grown children to whom the memoir is dedicated. She presently lives in Lexington, Massachusetts.
