Petrea Burchard drew on her years of acting experience to write her first novel, Camelot & Vine. She’s known as the original English voice of Ryoko, the sexy space pirate in the anime classic, Tenchi Muyo!. Her career transitioned from acting to writing with her popular Act As If humor column at NowCasting.com, which has recently been released as a book. Other published works include book reviews, articles, essays, and short fiction, including the story, Portraits, in Literary Pasadena: The Fiction Edition from Prospect Park Books. Petrea is also an editor, proofreader and co-teacher at the Story Kitchen writing workshops.
