Ronald W. Pies MD is a graduate of Cornell University and SUNY Upstate Medical University. He is Professor of Psychiatry and Lecturer on Bioethics and Humanities at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Pies is the author of several textbooks on psychiatry, as well as books on philosophy and spirituality. He is also the author of the novella, The Late Life Bloom of Rose Rabinowitz, the poetry chapbook, The Myeloma Year; and a work of philosophy, Don’t Worry—Nothing Will Turn Out All Right. His most recent book is titled, You Must Know Everything (Createspace/Amazon) Dr. Pies and his wife, Nancy, live outside Boston.
