Shailah Edmonds had a launch party for her debut memoir, and within a week was reviewed and featured in a prominent New York newspaper, the Amsterdam News. A native of Portland, Oregon, the mother of three children, she has also been an inspirational speaker for aspiring models, a producer and principal of her instructional DVD’s on modeling, an actor and a singer. Shailah relocated to New York, to pursue her modeling career. After signing with the Ford agency, she soon moved to Paris, where she lived for over two years, and became a much sought after, International Couture model. She traveled throughout Europe, modeling for the most prestigious designers in the world, including Yves St. Laurent, Givenchy, Dior, Valentino, Versace, Armani, just to name a few.
Her premiere as an author, teamed with associate editor, Chester Fultz, is published in a memoir entitled "Wild Child To Couture Style".
