Sharon Hewitt Rawlette has a PhD in philosophy from New York University but left academia in 2010 to pursue creative writing and cottage farming. Her first mainstream publication was her 2011 Salon article "When my fiancé told me about the other woman." Since then, she's written extensively on the subject of coincidence and synchronicity: on her Psychology Today blog, in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, and in her 2019 book The Source and Significance of Coincidences: A Hard Look at the Astonishing Evidence. With The Supreme Victory of the Heart, she returns to her first love--memoir--and shares her debut encounters with the phenomenon of meaningful coincidence.
