Torie Cooper is an Australian-American poet who grew up outside of Australia's Royal National Park. She has a Master's degee in Wildlife Management from Macquarie University, Sydney. Torie is the author of two books of poetry - Nature: A Collection of Poems and Laying Nana Down: Poems of Caregiving and Loss. Torie's latest book, Love, Laughter, and Morphine: A Compassionate Guide for Caregivers of the Terminally Ill is her first work of non-fiction. She is currently working on a book about international Animal Behaviorist Hilda Tresz.
