Ms. Dale graduated from U.C. Berkeley, married a Frenchman and spent several years in Spain and Morocco, where she learned both French and Spanish, translating for American doctors' conferences in Rabat, the capitol of Morocco. After returning to California, she took an Adult Education course in creative writing and wrote her first novel, NEVER MARRY IN MOROCCO. Her second was THE BUSHY DAUGHTERS GO TO WAR AND FIND RUMI. Her love of poetry developed when she joined a poetry group in Santa Barbara, and she wrote AMERICAN NARCISSIST, her first volume of poetry. She taught English and hosted students from every corner of the world in her warm and welcoming home in Santa Barbara, California, where she currently resides and is working on a new novel, The Coal Miners Christ.
