I write from life experiences of working with people of wide verities of lifestyles, countries, cultures and landscapes. I experienced the ouzo soaked hassapiko and zeibebiko dancing in Greek bouzoukias. In Spain I asked for a chato (a squat glass of wine), a sangria, a tinto de verano (literally "summer red wine", or wine diluted with fizzy lemonade), a pulga (mini-sandwich)… After doing the rounds of the tapas bars, I'll feel in perfect shape for going dancing with passionate uninhibited firm women until dawn. There's never a dull moment when it comes to Texas urban nightlife. Whether I’m looking for high-energy dance clubs or Texas Honky Ttonks for my two-steppin' pleasure, with Hank Williams impersonators, action-packed sports pubs or low-key wine bars.
Building very large offshore oil-rigs, tankers and bulk-carriers was my first profession. Then I discovered investment banking, high-finance and the world of million-dollar millisecond and High Frequency Trading or Ultra-Low Latency Trading in Financial Markets in Wall Street, Tokyo, London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mumbai and São Paulo.
I’m an an occasional writer, general creative sort, and understand dangerous passion. I love books, open skies, and the deserted beach. My passion in in writing is flash fiction stories, light, color, the unexpected, and the triumph of good over evil, but only after a considerable amount of stress and aggravation to make things interesting, of course. My first American book is “Blowout” – a crime thriller involving a dangerous passion love triangle engaged in $ 20 Billion bribery, kickback and money laundering operation based in Brazil and Wall street My next book is a collection of 30 flash fiction and short stories – “Farewell to Follies”. I strive to see the good in the world, the magical in the mundane, the light in the darkness, and the transcendent in the ordinary.
In addition to writing, I enjoy art, classical and electronic music. A Californian at heart, I currently reside on the edge of Sonora Desert.
