Yecheilyah (e-SEE-li-yah, affectionately nicknamed EC) grew up on the South Side of Chicago IL, where her favorite activity was reading books and writing poetry in her notebooks and journals. Yecheilyah loves to watch movies with her family, play cards, and have a good laugh. Yecheilyah is a 2019 Kindle Book Review Winner for Poetry, Author, Book Blogger, and Teacher. She is a member of A Writers Path Writer’s Club, Rave Reviews Book Club, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Yecheilyah writes Black Historical Fiction, Poetry, and Inspirational Non-Fiction. She is the founder of Literary Korner Publishing, Yecheilyah’s Annual Poetry Contests, Lit Mag Literary Magazine for Poets, and The PBS Blog, where she shares Book Reviews and Writing Tips for Independent (Indie) Authors and Publishers. Yecheilyah now lives in Georgia with her husband where she attends The University of West Alabama online, enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family.
