I'm a daughter and sister of what I like to think of as a goofy family. I?ve had a passion for writing for a long time and usually just did it for my own pleasure. I?m a bit more of an introvert, so writing was the perfect way for me to voice out my thoughts and fantasies. I gave a piece of my work to my humanities teacher one time as I was too lazy to write something. So I gave her something old and she was amazed at my skill and told me to never stop writing. This inspired me to keep going and I slowly started shaping a book around that one piece of work. As a teenager, it took me a long time to finish my first book, considering I have high school and sports. My family is super supportive in my writing, especially my dad. He has pushed me to finish my book time and time again when I felt like giving up on it, thinking that as a teenager no one would want to read my book. But he insisted, telling me I had a special skill that not many people have, and I should be proud of it. So I carried on. My brothers would get excited when I told them I was writing a book, giving me names for the book, asking if I got famous, I?d share my fame with them. I?ve written my first book Specter as the result of my father and mine?s team effort. I?ll continue writing and publishing books, hopefully a sequel to Specter in that process if an audience wants it, as it fuels my imagination and allows me to release my emotions into words. Things that'll never happen to me, I can write down and just imagine to be true, making what I write more than just a story, but an alternative reality, not just for me, but for whoever reads my book and loves it. The fact that my book is out there and at least one person may be reading my story and enjoying it makes me ecstatic. I would love for people to read my books and see how it doesn?t matter what age you are, if you have talent it?ll shine in one way or another, and that's why I'll keep writing.
