"He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die". John 11:21-26

Tony Peso’s world is turned upside down the first time he is plugged into a cryonically frozen head, to experience their last ten seconds of life. If this was properly marketed, it could be massive…

Ignoring the moral implications and ably assisted by Cryo-Biochemist Davis, Brit-abroad Tony makes millions selling this mind-blowing one-off hit to Billionaires.

Way out of his depth from layers of deceit, he soon finds himself an international fugitive, on the run from the FBI for a murder he didn’t commit. A bagful of cash, but unable to distinguish friend from foe.

Now headlining America’s Most Wanted, Tony finds himself writing his own memoirs from Death Row...

Andrew Rajan's novel is, above all, a gripping and eminently readable Science Fiction story. However, unlike most Sci-Fi novels, the premise on which the story is based, feels alarmingly close to reality. The notion that it is possible to preserve, at least the memory of the last seconds of someone's life by cryogenic means, and that that memory could be subsequently transferred to and experienced by someone else, seems only slightly outrageous and ahead its time. Tony Peso, the main character, is a likeably flawed character, who finds himself drawn into an increasingly involved and multi-layered plot, finally finding himself on death row at the Lake Pen penitentiary. Without giving away too much, Tony Peso is far too good a creation not to appear in further novels. This book is a thoroughly good read, and I look forward to further novels in this series.
