To Have Or Have Not has astounded me; I enjoyed every single moment of the book because it was by far a perfect read! The wonderful author of the novel, Jared Chapman is a true literary talent because he managed to captivate and enthrall me from the very beginning with ease. To Have Or Have Not is a dramatic and captivating novel that will introduce the reader to Fellowship City, a place where you are either one of two people. You either have everything, from wealth, fame, and even superpowers or, you have nothing and are an ordinary powerless citizen. The reader will meet Mario, a twenty-year-old who is an ordinary citizen with a job downtown at a restaurant. Mario enjoys his job and looks forward to going however one day his boss is murdered and Mario becomes the prime suspect. This forces Mario to go on a journey to clear his name and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible To Have Or Have Not!
The story of To Have Or Have Not is a sensational one because it encompasses everything good about literature. It has an outlandish, brave plot, enthralling characters, and an incredibly well thought out backstory that will keep the reader wanting to read for hours on end. To Have Or Have Not is a unique and special book; it is exceptional for the obvious reasons… that it encompasses everything great about the written word, but it is unique because of the plot. The plot of this novel is something I have never read of or heard of before, it reads like a movie, and you can imagine the details in perfect glory. Never before have I read a book that has a ton of action as well as intellectual depth. In other words, this book has brains behind it; it is not a senseless, quick, action, and adventure read!
Jared Chapman is the author of To Have Or Have Not and he does an incredible job of piecing together his story and weaving it into a fantastic book of intrigue and entertainment. Chapman is a phenomenal writer because he is dedicated to his work as well as passionate. Chapman’s passion shines off the page and into the reader’s mind; his sometimes lengthy, beautiful descriptions will send the reader’s mind into visual overdrive and the reader will be able to perfectly imagine every detail the reader comes across! And that in my opinion is the sign of a talented author book lovers.
To conclude my thoughts on the brilliant piece of literature that is To Have Or Have Not, I would say if you are looking for a fantasy/ya novel that is unlike anything you have read… a read that will keep you entertained for hours on end as well as enthrall you then this superb book is for you!
