While on vacation in Carmel, a subtropical little town on the coast of Central California, student filmmaker Eric De la Cruz has little time to unwind before hearing rumors that a banshee is haunting the Dearborn Manor.
The following afternoon, Eric meets a friend who invites him, along with five others, to stay for an extended weekend at the ocean-front mansion. That night a scream terrifies the guests and by morning a young man is found dead.
Everyone in the community, especially those who stay at the manor, are sure that the vengeful ghost of Melissa Dearborn, who drowned eight months earlier, is responsible. But Eric isn’t convinced. He finds a threatening letter in a drawer, discovers counterfeit art in the Dearborn’s private collection, and glass shards on the beach. As a storm surge traps them inside, Eric seeks the help of a maid to reveal the hidden truth behind Melissa’s drowning, or become the latest victims at Dearborn Manor.
