Four young boys grow up playing Alliance Baseball (soft rules). They mature and get drafted into the deadly major leagues around the world. An incident off the field of play happens where Dean's brother, Boisie, is accidentally killed and Dean blames Ray (the rat) for it. Dean persues Ray on the field of play to try and kill Ray to avenge his brother Boisie's death. Lenny Peecheh is Ray s best friend and has a vested interest in protecting Ray. The boys meet in a winner take all World Series Alliance Baseball Final where the truth comes out as to what happened to Boisie.
