Chelsea is a survivor – she watched her city self-destruct during Hurricane Katrina and watched her father become swept away by floodwaters during the aftermath. After relocating to Houston, Chelsea begins a new life, but she never lets go of the hope that one day her father will return to them. Meanwhile, her loyal companion, Tommy the turkey, is due to end up as Thanksgiving dinner unless there is some type of divine intervention. Will Chelsea save Tommy in time, or will Tommy be the one to save Chelsea?
