Would you fight to save a world that would never think of you as a hero or never know your sacrifice? 

That's the question posed to five individuals, each of whom live with physical and/or cognitive disabilities which were present at birth or acquired later in life. An alien artifact summons their souls to an underground cavern, offering them the choice to defend the Earth. If they choose to fight, they are all that stands between a monstrous invading horde and the annihilation of the human race. The artifact endows them with superhuman abilities and physical prowess as well as enabling them to physically engage the invaders in battle. But will it be enough to save our world?

You'll witness the battles they face in their everyday lives as well. Their personal demons, painful memories, and shattered dreams weave a compelling story that, at times, may prove more horrifying than the most fearsome invader.
