I just got through reading Between the Pages, by Thais Sherell J, on the story of Joyce A. McDonald. If you are ready for a page-turner, this is it. From beginning to end Sherell explores the many aspects of Ms. McDonald’s life, from her innocent beginnings, to misguided relationships, and insecurities that finally lead her into the ultimate devastation. When you read this book, not only will you not be able to put it down, but you will discover how her “trials became her Triumph.”
Between the Pages was such a heart-wrenching thriller! Once I picked up the book, everything else on my agenda was set aside as I was captivated by Thais’s use of words to create a vivid image of Joyce’s life. This is a definite must-read for every woman as it shows that we can excel no matter what life brings us. Well done Thais!
