I really loved this book! I would give 6 stars if I could. I was absolutely on the edge of my seat.
Douglas Brown is the detective known for capturing Richard Blythe, the bomber who brought London to its knees. Doug has transferred to Hong Kong because, unbelievably, Richard Blythe is going to be paroled. When the note comes, Doug knows Richard is out and he is coming for him. Then comes a deadly game that has Doug scrambling to keep people safe. The tension is horrific.
I highly recommend this book. I am looking forward to my next book by Jay Tinsiano.
I enjoyed this crime-suspense-police novel, it was a short and quick read that was very engaging with well-developed characters and plot. There were a few questions left about the mad-man’s motives, particularly about why he allowed himself to be captured in the initial event, but overall, this question did not detract from the value. I do recommend this as a good quick read.
