A cozy mystery that kept me guessing who was the bad guy. Who I didn't see coming by the way! This book was hard to put down. Enjoyed the likeable characters and their friendships. I enjoyed the romantic interest and hope it continues because I think they are good for each other. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
This is a story that kept me entertained throughout. I had no idea whodunit until the reveal at the end, I liked that I was kept guessing. The characters were entertaining and fun. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Anna Snow introduces readers to a fabulous trio in this cozy mystery debut. Barb Jackson and her two friends are three of the savviest crime fighters I've come across. The tight knit relationship these ladies have added to the fun and friendly feeling of this story. Barb is a heroine who is easy to relate to and while some might consider her naive for taking on a case to prove her cheating ex isn't a killer. I don't want to give anything away but the incident with her jeans would have made this story worth reading for that scene alone. Truly I'm still giggling days after finishing the book and I picture the incident in my head at work and it sets me off all over again. I enjoyed the chemistry between the pretty PI and the sexy detective as I'm a fan of a little romance with my mysteries. I love when stories have fantastic relationships and this one has wonderful characters who just bring me into the story. I like that the mystery was quirky, definitely not what I was expecting. I'm looking forward to seeing just what Barb and her staff can get up to next. If you like your mysteries to leave you smiling then I recommend you read this one.
Barb Jackson usually spends her days since becoming a private investigator chasing cheating spouses. But when the chance to test her skills to clear her ex and catch the real murderer presents itself Barb jumps right in. Before she knows it she's dodging attempts on her own life but maybe even more distracting is dealing with the attractive homicide detective who's also on the case.
Sometimes you never know with a new series (or even new author to you) but this book had me laughing from the beginning to the end, while trying to determine who was the killer. (side note, no one anywhere on my radar). It didn’t hurt that there were 3 hunky men intertwined in the story…too bad there are no pictures!
This is a book to take a chance on, you just might find a new author you like.
