A long narrative poem about Old Maria, the most amazing gattara (cat lady) in Rome, and her colony of enchanted feral cats. Among her associates is a cardinal facing his last days, in need of a favor only Maria can grant. It sounds flat-out impossible. But as Maria reminds her cats, and us, things are not always as they seem. For those who truly love, impossible is only an illusion.
