This was a hard one to put down...While the sexual tension between the two is obvious, the best parts of this book are when we see Gray's interactions with those she cares about...Being inside Gray's head as she works through these issues is almost heartbreaking. You feel her pain, really experience her struggle. There is just an honest beauty there....And the secondary characters are so genuine in this book, you care about them and their struggles as much as Gray's...

The synopsis on this one was so intriguing that I needed to read this book. A compulsive liar? I have not seen that done before and I love a good forbidden romance so I was excited. 
The story was definitely one that had me flipping the pages to see what was going to happen next. I was sucked into the characters world….The connection between these characters are fantastic. From their first interaction you could feel it. The secondary characters in the story really bring out the best in the main characters….I think the thing I like best about this book was the ending. 

To say I am blown away by COMPULSIVE by Lia Fairchild would be and understatement, this was a truly phenomenal read, it really pulled at my heartstrings.
The story of this book is absolutely very well written and well developed and the plot of the book is very fast paced, I could not put it down and found myself forgetting to make supper for my family as I was so consumed by the story in this book. The characters in this book are very well written and well developed and will capture your heart with what they are going through. The chemistry between Gray and Daniel is there, but that is not what this story is about, this story goes so much deeper than love.
In this book you will see a women struggling with life and the disorder that she has, and what she has endured her whole life with her family and the loss that she suffers at such a young age that haunts her still today. In this book we will meet the many people in Grays life who help her in one way or another whether she realizes that they are helping her, and we will also see the struggles of life that they are going through. In this book you will also see many of the characters suffer a loss of someone who is very important to them. Finally in this book you will see a man fighting to do what he thinks is right and not get involved with Gray, as he is dealing with his own past, but he is the one who is helping Gray the most by helping her move on from the past and really and truly open up.
COMPULSIVE was not my normal type of read as there is no alpha male and no sexy loves scenes, there is however a real romance forming and I for one will watch for book two in this series as I need to know what happens to Gray and Daniel, I have been left wanting so much more of them. I would give COMPULSIVE by Lia Fairchild 4/5 stars.
