Cur Vitae: The Collected Writings of Talrich deYorkshire

Adult; General Fiction (including literary and historical); (Market)

This is a 466 pg collection of eight short stories and one novella, and was written by a Yorkshire terrier--me. This is a breezy read with a little bit of anything and everything that any canine, or even human, reader could want. The 135 pg novella is a story about the circle of fate, I guess you'd say, is titled, Impacts and Collisions, and is set in the Arizona desert, near Berringer Meteor Crater. There's also a gripping courtroom drama, told by the seeing-eye dog of the defendant's father, as well as a harrowing tale, Book Hound, set in 2084, about a dog named Dewey who is guarding one of the last libraries with real, paper, books. A projectionist's dog, Sprocket, is the narrator of a behind-the-scenes show-biz tale set on June 1st, 1977, one week after the film Star Wars was first released. There's a dog-detective canine crime mystery called Dog Dick For Hire, there's a story set around greyhound tracks in England (and done in British English), another story is told by a wheelchair-bound attorney's disgruntled service dog. And there's more! You'll have to read the book, I guess.
