Curly Top visits Shubert Elementary in Baldwin, L.I.

Curly and I were invited to attend the Black history month extravaganza at Shubert.  The program was geared toward educating the students on historic African American events and people. This fun filled, exciting event was organized by the PTA and was a great success! Curly was well received!

3/15/10 Curly Top returns to Shubert Elementary School to participate in an author reading. The third and fourth graders were excited to hear Curly's story and asked amazing questions! It was an awesome experience!  Curly and I would like to thank the PTA, the Principle, and mostly the students!

***********Curly Top dress up contest at St Gen's************

Curly and I visited St Genevieve's again where the principal, Mrs. Coyle, surprised me and had the students participate in a "Dress up Curly Top" contest. Each grade had to create a "Curly Top" doll and dress her up. All of the dolls were exceptional and so were the kids!!I chose the 6th grade as the winner. The 4th grade came in second place and the second grade came in third place. In my heart, they were ALL exceptional.
