Paratrooper Private David Cooper is betrayed and shot by his commanding officer Sergeant Major Anderson as his brothers in arms pilfer $13,000,00 in German gold on D-Day June 6 1944. Cooper assumes the name Martinez, Latin for god of war, and creates an alliance with a former S.S. German soldier named Albert Kandinsky. Martinez uses his malice and depravity to seek retribution on his platoon for their treachery and steal the gold. The only impediment obscuring Martinez’s plans for revenge is veteran F.B.I. Agent Dennis Paterson. To help capture Martinez, Dennis collaborates with, an arrogant, yet intuitive, new partner Craig Holloway. Martinez’s plans for revenge culminate as Martinez brutally kill his former platoon commander, Jeff Anderson, and his secret lover Penelope.
