This mythology of Dark Athyx tackles a very sensitive issue about dominance and power. The Author, W.S. Class, played well with the readers' imagination as the concept used in the book is extraordinaire. Definitely a must-read.

Excellent writing, Well developed characters set the storyline for the upcoming struggle that continues in the series. This book provides the backdrop and setting to the world in dark Athyx that is unfolding as the series progresses.

Klass has a wonderful storytelling technique that kept me smiling throughout. I adore Fantasy in all of its many forms, so this was a delightful read. I love how Klass incorporates a myriad of creatures from mythology and brings the Pantheon of God's to life. His rich language made the reading fun, his heroes are larger than life, and the conflicts and resolutions left me satisfied but wanting more. Bravo!
