The Magii'ri Warriors are still reeling from the bloody Revolution that rocked their homeland of Norland. But through sheer grit and determination they delivered a near death blow to the forces of the Dark. However, the Dark is resilient, and continues to work its way through the shadows of Norland. To defeat the Dark once and for all, the Wizard Mathias resolves to create the Dragonspawn, a magical and physical blending the the strengths of a Dragon and a Magii'ri Warrior. With the help of a Dragonwitch named La'Nay he disguises this powerful weapon as a boy named Jacob Grimwullf. As the boy grows, he discovers he may have more in common with Dragons than with humans.
