“Told from several points of view, humans and aliens, the story moves along quickly as tension builds, leading to an unknown future, different from anything humans have experienced since the arrival of the Criterion. Short chapters keep the pace lively and I found myself reading faster and faster, eager to find out what would happen next. Now, I’m eagerly anticipating Book 2, Earth Arrested.”
D L Richardson has done it again!!! Did I ever doubt her? Not for a minute!!
A sci-fi dystopian novel that spoke to my tin foil hat clad, paranoid soul.
What if nothing was what you thought? Your life, your parents your society… All lies. I’m sure that any readers out there who have been on my blog for a while have heard me mention my favourite move “Southland Tales”, well this novel reminded me of that but on a much bigger scale!
I won’t spoil anything for anyone, but there are well written characters, amazing world building…
Or should I say WORLDS building??
It’s a book about stepping into another person’s shoes, about the cost of freedom, and who has to pay the price.
